I read this from one of the notes I wrote way back and I'm definitely older, smarter and GREAT!!!

I woke up into a nightmare

I didn't want to wake up.

I was having a much better time asleep.

And that's really sad.

It was almost like a reverse nightmare,

like when you wake up from a nightmare you're so relieved.

I woke up into a nightmare.

Felt like the 4th of July. Crap.

I remember riding in a taxi one afternoon between very tall buildings under a mauve and rosy sky;

I began to bawl because I had everything I wanted and knew ......

I would never be so happy again
